The Small Lavenders - Dwarf Lavender
The smaller English Lavenders varieties include Compacta, Dwarf Blue, Dwarf White, Folgate, Hidcote Pink, Lady, Munstead, Nana Atropurpurea, Nana Rosea and Summerland Supreme.
These Lavenders are great for use when you do not want a large growing variety or are short on garden space. Since they are all English in variety they all have that lovely sweet true aroma. As you can see from the names you have multiple flower color choices too.
The Mid-Sized English Lavenders - Semi-Dwarfs
Semi-Dwarf varieties of English Lavender include Bowles Early, Hidcote Variety, Loddon Blue and Twickel Purple.
The Tall English Lavenders
The large taller growing English cultivars of Lavandula angustifolia are Alba, Blackhouse Purple, Biostos, Bridestowe, Graves, Gray Lady, Gwendolyn Anley, Hidcote Giant, Irene Doyle, Mailette, and Middachten.
These Lavenders need room to spread and definitely pack a punch in regards to getting noticed in your flower garden.
