Madrid Blue Lavender
Lavandula stoechas Madrid Blue
Madrid Blue Lavender is a smaller growing stoechas Lavender. This Spanish Lavender has blue flowers that pop against the green bracts on its flower head. The top bracts of the blue Lavender flower are a bright white by contrast. I like to plant this Lavender next to a dark purple variety to really showcase the blue Lavender flowers.

Hardy in US Zones 8 - 10 plant in a well drained soil in full sun. This Lavender plant will grow to about 2 feet tall and wide. Shear back Madrid Blue Lavender regularly to maintain shape and promote repeat bloom through the growing season.
