Lavender & Peppermint Homemade Foot Scrub Recipe

How to make Lavender Peppermint Foot Scrub

An easy Lavender homemade foot scrub can be made out of a few pantry ingredients and essential oils. Easy to make, easy to use and easy to give as a thoughtful homemade Lavender gift too!

The addition of Peppermint essential oil is what gives this homemade foot scrub it's added kick. So cooling, so refreshing! You can follow your foot scrub with some tingly peppermint lotion too massaging it up your calves. Your legs will thank you.

Here is how to make Lavender Peppermint Foot Scrub

Easy Lavender Peppermint Homemade Foot Scrub

1 cup (225g) of Epsom Salt, Coarse Kosher Salt, Sea Salt, or Sugar (Choose one)
10 drops Peppermint Essential Oil
10 drops Lavender Essential Oil
1/2 cup (120ml) Jojoba Oil, Olive Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, or Coconut oil (Choose one)

Optional Ingredients:

2-3 teaspoons Vitamin E Oil (very nourishing for cracked heels)
1-2 tablespoons dried Lavender flower (pretty)
Honey is another optional ingredient which is beneficial for the skin and makes for a nice consistency.

Combine all the ingredients into a glass jar (an old clean salsa jar works great.) If the mix is runny add a little more of the dry ingredients. Store in a cool, dark place but don't forget about it!

How To Use:

Use about a tablespoon or so per foot and massage well paying attention to any rough areas especially the heel area. Your feet will tingle because of the peppermint essential oil. Rinse lightly to remove the residue then pat dry leaving soft feet.

This Lavender Peppermint Foot Scrub is a real treat before bedtime. If needed smooth on some Lavender lotion. Have your tried peppermint lotion? You can slip your feet into some soft socks to continue moisturizing as you sleep. Lavender Peppermint foot scrub is cooling relief for tired feet after a long days work and another way to enjoy Lavender aromatherapy.
