Using Lavender Oil to Treat Alopecia areata

What is Alopecia areata?  It is a disease which results in hair loss all over the body.  There is significant loss of hair on the scalp usually in patches.  This is devastating to the one who suffers the disease.

Studies were done at the University of Maryland of individuals who massaged their scalp daily using Lavender essential oil over a period of 7 months.  There was a significant amount of hair regrowth among those using the Lavender essential oil.

     Lavender Essential Oil is a
circulatory stimulant and is beneficial to the skin. Is is any wonder then that aided in some hair regrowth?

For Alopecia try using Lavender mixed with a carrier oil - see the recipe for massage.  In addition you may also use an organic Lavender shampoo and conditioner. Rosemary essential oil is another oil that may also be combined to benefit hair growth.
