Lemon Lavender Icing Recipe

Quick Icing

   
This recipe will make a lovely icing to drizzle over the bundt cake recipe.

  • 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar sifted
  • 1/2 teaspoon water or cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh Lavender buds to sprinkle on top of the icing
  • 1/4 teaspoon fresh lemon zest minced very finely or a drop of lemon extract.


     Mix together all the above ingredients and decoratively drizzle over the cooled bundt cake. If using Lemon extract taste icing after mixing to make sure its not to strong. Lightly sprinkle on the fresh Lavender flower buds.  If you don't have fresh flowers you could use a little dried culinary Lavender. Serve immediately.
