Lemon Lavender Icing Recipe
Quick Lavender Icing
This Lavender Frosting recipe will make a lovely icing to drizzle over the bundt cake recipe.
- 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar sifted
- 1/2 teaspoon water or cream
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh Lavender buds to sprinkle on top of the icing
- 1/4 teaspoon fresh lemon zest minced very finely or a few drops of lemon extract.
Mix together all the above ingredients and decoratively drizzle over the cooled bundt cake. Add more liquid if necessary to thin enough so you can drizzle. If using Lemon extract taste icing after mixing to make sure its not to strong. Lightly sprinkle on the fresh Lavender flower buds. If you don't have fresh flowers you could use a little dried culinary Lavender. Serve immediately.
